"You can do things you stopped doing because of the pandemic"
These are the words of CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, as the USA gets set to allow the removal of masks, indoors and out if you've had the jab.
Of course, those who now display a naked face to the world may look as out of place as the masked face did a couple of years ago. We may be bias, but having a SAFEBAND is a clear indication to any worried onlookers that you're vaccinated and safe.
President Joe Biden emerged at the White House for remarks without a mask. "I think it's a great milestone, a great day. If you're fully vaccinated and can take your mask off, you've earned the right to do something that Americans are known for all around the world: greeting others with a smile."
This 'great milestone' still has a caveat; public transportation will still require passengers to mask up as well as 'crowded indoor spaces' and hospitals. Stopping people at the doors of the grocery store or bowling alley to check for a vaccine card probably won't work, Dr. Anthony Fauci said, "I think there's going to be a pushback against questioning somebody when they walk in".
Mask or no mask, you can tell others around you that you've been vaccinated and support the vaccine program with a silicone wristband.
